This is a list of compositions by Anton Bruckner (1824–1896). Bruckner is best known for his symphonic works, of which there are 11 symphonies (the last with an unfinished finale), most of them in several versions. He also composed a few other smaller orchestral works (1 overture, 1 symphonic prelude, 1 march and 3 'small orchestral pieces') and sketched another symphony. Bruckner also composed a considerable amount of choral music. There are 59 religious works, of which there are 17 large choral works (7 masses, 2 requiems, 1 religious cantata, 5 psalm settings, 1 Te Deum hymn and 1 Magnificat hymn), 40 smaller choral works (16 hymns, 6 antiphons, 6 graduals, 3 settings of the offertorium, 2 chorale, 2 religious elegies, 2 Libera me, 1 litany and 2 other motets), of which a few are in two or three versions, and 2 aequali for three trombones. In addition, Bruckner made sketches for 2 other masses and another requiem. Bruckner also composed 44 ''Weltliche Chorwerke'' (secular choral works), 7 secular cantatas, of which two are in three versions, and 20 Lieder for voice and piano (of which 12 not yet issued). Bruckner’s chamber music includes 1 not issued scherzo for string quartet, 1 string quartet with alternative rondo, 1 string quintet with additional intermezzo, 25 small piano works (of which 16 not yet issued), and 1 duo for violin and piano. Other instrumental music includes a few organ works of which some are of doubtful authorship, and 1 military march for concert band. == Werkverzeichnis Anton Bruckner (WAB) == The WAB numbers, used in the table below, refer to the ドイツ語:Werkverzeichnis Anton Bruckner. This is a thematic catalogue of the music of Anton Bruckner compiled by Renate Grasberger. Lost works, sketches, etc. were added afterwards. Some other, still unclassified, works were identified as ラテン語:WAB deest. The WAB uses a single range of numbers divided into subranges for genre classification. Grasberger sorted the compositions alphabetically by title within each of the subranges.
